A short history of medicine in England, from Roman times to the mid twentieth century. The emphasis is on Oxfordshire, especially the needs of working people.

Jeanette is a medical doctor and historian and is secretary of the Medical Art Society.

8.00pm @ Finstock Village Hall, OX7 3BU. Refreshments available from 7.30pm.

Annual subscription each September, entitling free entry to all talks and qualifying events: £15 single, £20 couple. Non-members: £2.50 per event unless otherwise stated.
