Ridge and Furrow – what’s it all about? There’s not much ridge and furrow left now, but
before modern ploughing flattened it, much of Oxfordshire would have been corrugated in
this way. How old is it? How and why was it created? This talk will look at the How?
When? Where? Who? - and, most interestingly, the Why? of ridge and furrow.
