What’s New?
The Village Website is now being run in a much more interactive way! We want you villagers to contribute:-
- Keep us all informed with what’s going on in the Village – make sure people know when your event is being held!
- Especially if you represent a Village Organisation – please see the bottom of this page for more details.
- Raise issues – posts here can be seen by all the village – all the village can agree/disagree and even build an argument to take to the council, for example.
- Create new groups - Finstock is already a thriving community; many groups of like-minded people meet regularly, however you want to start a new group – post an idea and see what people think.
How do I do this?
- Simply register here (http://finstock.org.uk/wp-login.php?action=register)
- Once in your Dashboard, click “Posts” -> “Add New” – add your post and once accepted it will appear under the “Latest” section of the site.
- For further details on this process, please see the pages under the “About” section of the site.
Organisation
We have hopes that different Village Organisations, and posts with a certain purpose, like raising an issue, will soon be able to have their own sections on this site, making their posts stand out as their own from others. In the mean time however, we would appreciate it if you Categorized your posts appropriately to enable easy navigation. For example, if you are posting about an event, please select the “Events” category.
We would like Village Organisations to have priority in the development of this site, so if you need help getting your organisation on this site, please get in contact – details on the About page. If you represent an organisation in a village near Finstock, this applies to you, too!
