The Finstock News was established in 2000 under the banner "Of the village, by the village, for the village." We encourage everyone to contribute news, articles, poetry, memories, pictures or opinions. We are here to serve this community and keep everyone informed.
The newsletter is run as a non-profit organization using only volunteers and financed by our advertisers, to whom we are most grateful.
We print 550 copies of the newsletter, which is published bi-monthly. The newsletter is distributed throughout Finstock, Fawler, Wilcote, Mount Skippett and Finstock Heath. We also supply copies to both our local and national representatives, Thames Valley Police Crime Reduction Officer. Copies of the Finstock News are available at our local pubs: The Crown, The Plough and The Royal Oak in Ramsden, and at the Village Shop.
All material is reviewed by the Editorial Committee who reserve the right to reject or edit articles. We accept no anonymous submissions but will withhold your name if requested. Please provide contact details with your submissions.
