The role of women in an agricultural economy is frequently hidden from the history but through extensive research Frances presents her fascinating evidence of the vital role they played in rural life. Frances obtained her DPhil in English Local History at Oxford in 2016 and is now a part-time tutor at the Department for Continuing Education.
All meetings are at 8.00pm on Fridays (unless otherwise stated) at Finstock Village Hall, OX7 3BU. Refreshments are available from 7.35pm.
