Finstock Local History Society: "Grim's Ditch"

...with Vaughan Abigail.

Situated on the eastern dipslope of the Cotswolds and centred on the lower
Evenlode valley, Grim's Ditch is a discontinuous prehistoric earthwork system which
measured, at its maximum, some 28 km in length and partially enclosed an area of
approximately 8000 ha, making it one of the most extensive such monuments in
England – and it is literally on Finstock's doorstep!
